Grand Crown Treasurer Marek Matczyński forbids Crown Jews to avoid paying the Jewish poll tax as a result of accepting by the Sejm additional Jewish poll tax of 50 thousand zlotys for hiberna. He also orders the immediate payment of the tax to treasury deputies who arrived with assignations in accordance with the allocation prepared by Crown elders. Moreover, the treasurer specifies the size of the deputies’ delegation as three horses that the Jews should take care of until the tax is collected. He also forbids representatives to take from the kahal more than 30 zlotys’ worth food per week during the period of enforcing claims on Jews.
